Welcome to endomentalArtistry, a small corner of the internet devoted to what happens inside the mind and how it finds its way outward into art, aesthetics, and writing. 

What “endomental” means

endomental is a word I made up for the inner creative space where images, patterns, ideas, and stories begin to take shape. It’s the thread that connects everything I do here, from visual art to fiction, and it reflects the way I think about creativity: as something that starts inward and moves outward into form.

Artist and author

I’m also an author, writing under the pen name Hannah Wayland. Right now, my published fiction work lives in the co-authored Charmed Company 2181 series, which I write with CJ Maitland. That series is one expression of my writing life, and there may be solo books to come as well. The writing and the art are separate projects, but they grow from the same creative source.

Charmed Company 2181 is a near-future found-family series shaped by pressure, loyalty, trauma, community, and the consequences of what people do to survive. Old Harbor Tides and Private Wars are now published, with Book 3 nearing completion and Book 4 beginning. If you want the book side of my work, start there.

I also write I {heart} Rhody, a local-interest blog dedicated to exploring Rhode Island. Place matters to me, and Rhode Island often finds its way into the art, the atmosphere, and the way I notice the world. For more on the Rhode Island of it, that’s where to go.
