My week in pictures

Saturday the weather was great for the Rhode Island Annual State Historic Preservation Conference. I toured Harrisville, sat in on a talk about the history of the Chepachet Meeting House, and saw clips from local historical documentary films.

 

  Michelle Obama released the Administration's china pattern, which has inspired me to research presidential china patterns through history.

In preparation for the upcoming Avengers movie, I've been catching up on the stuff I missed in the previous Marvel Comics movies. Did you know Hawkeye was in the Thor movie? I didn't.




Today is May Day, which in Rhode Island is celebrated with the traditional May Breakfast. We went to Oaklawn Community Baptist Church, the host of the first May Breakfast, to partake in their 148th annual.
