Day 1 was pretty easy. They didn't arrive until 7pm, and were so worn out from the trip that they unpacked the necessities, we ordered a pizza and everyone was ready to roll into bed. Yesterday was more involved. There was unpacking. Son-in-law installed the air conditioners (say hooray!). We took the little ones to the strawberry farm and spent 15 minutes or so paying for the privilege of being migrant workers. Kidding aside, we had a good time, though it was hot. The Bee got to feed a llama, which was exciting.
Today is back to work. I'm not as tired as I thought I'd be. We'll see what the evening holds. It's a joy to have my grandmonsters nearby. We just need to get organized so things don't spiral out of control. The needs of an 18 month old and a 6 week old can create a lot of havoc.
