1. A Christmas Story.  I saw this in the theater when it first came out and just didn't get it. I guess I had to grown into it. B+

2. How The Grinch Stole Christmas. The animated is an A and the Jim Carrey is a D.

3. The Santa Clause.  B

4. Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer.  B-

5. Frosty The Snowman.  C

6. Home Alone.  Started out as a holiday tradition that today seems overdone. C

7. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.  A-

8. Elf.  B

9. Miracle on 34th Street.  The original, A. The remake, D.

10. A Charlie Brown Christmas. A for message, D for animation

11. White Christmas. C

12. The Polar Express.   B-

13. It's A Wonderful Life.  A

14.  A Christmas Carol.  Oh, my. Which version? I give the George C. Scott one an A, the Muppets one an A-. Jim Carrey's version a B. "Scrooge!" the musical gets a B+

15.  Love Actually.  Eh. C+

Oh, that's a good one! Have you seen "Scrooge!" with Albert Finney?

I have never seen The Santa Clause at all, and only parts of Home Alone. No reason, really. Just never got around to it. (Of course, considering that the movies are decades old, if I truly wanted to see them, I would have.)

Very true. Although I couldn't recommend Home Alone anymore, I think The Santa Clause is a fun, lighthearted movie if you're not in the mood for anything deep or moving.
