Book review: At Table with the Lord

A very short but interesting exploration of what foods Jesus and his contemporaries might have eaten, and how it might have been prepared. It explores a little bit of Kashrut dietary rules, and discusses variants of the foods we know today vs. the variety that was available at the time. Includes a few ancient Roman recipes. To me, the most interesting part was the discussion of Manna - what it might have been, where it came from and how it's used today.
