Book review: 365 Thank yous by John Kralik

365 Thank Yous: The Year a Simple Act of Daily Gratitude Changed My Life, by John Kralik

A quick read about an attorney who, at the low point of his life, was inspired to write thank you notes. His goal was 365 in one year. Although it finally took 15 months to complete 365 thank yous, the impact on his life and his attitude was significant.

I took a lot from this book, and recommended it to both my daughters. Kralik not only improved his own life by connecting and reconnecting with others, and looking for things to be thankful for, he also improved the lives of others by making them feel appreciated.

  1. What a cool notion this book represents! Kind of a "pay it forward" approach? This deserves a closer look.

    1. Although I doubt he intended it that way, it's definitely how it ended up. And if I do decide to commit to something like that, that will be my intention, too.
