www wednesday

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading? Audio: 1493: Uncovering the New World Columbus Created by Charles C. Mann (for those keeping track, I recently finished his other audiobook, 1491). In print I'm still working on America's Founding Food: The Story of New England Cooking

• What did you recently finish reading? The Unquiet by J.D. Robb. Since I didn't bother to review it, I guess it didn't make much of an impact. Another seasonal novella based around Halloween.

• What do you think you’ll read next? Still planning to read Roger Williams and the Creation of the American Soul: Church, State, and the Birth of Liberty by John M. Barry

  1. JD Robb is one of those authors I keep *meaning* to read. I see her name over and over again on paperback covers on the train. Her readers seem so into her! But my TBR pile is so tall already that I haven't added a new author in a while.

  2. I really enjoy her work, both as JD Robb and Nora Roberts. It's worth slipping into the TBR pile just so no other author slips past her.

  3. Is 1493 quite as dry as 1491 was? At least, I found it dry.

  4. It's probably just as dry, but to me the topics he's covering this time are more interesting.
