CNN reports that Mary Travers, the "Mary" of the folk group Peter, Paul and Mary, has died following bone marrow treatment for leukemia. She was 72.
I grew up on folk music, and Peter, Paul and Mary were a big part of it. One of my earlier musical memories is their song, "Lemon Tree."
Thankful for her wonderful music!
