Movie review: A League of their Own

A fictionalized story of the All-American Pro Girls (Baseball) League, which gained some prominence during World War II, when the men in the Major Leagues were off to war. The movie focuses on the Rockford Peaches, played by Geena Davis, Madonna, Rosie O'Donnell, Lori Petty, Tracy Reiner, et. al.

Throughout their pro season, they hit upon various trials and tribulations, until they make their way to the finals.

All in all, it was an okay movie. Not great, but okay. It was on the AFI's Greatest Quotes list for "There's no crying in baseball!"
