So I'm a week away from the end of my 101 Things in 1001 Days. There is no way I'm going to complete all those tasks. In fact, I ended up deleting some awhile ago and never replaced them.

Nevertheless, I'm glad I've been working on this project. It taught me a lot about what's really important, and showed me that something I had thought would not be possible (moving to Rhode Island, for example) actually was. Moving was not on the original list, and was added on later in replacement for a home improvement in Illinois.

Next time, I don't think I'll delete the things I decide against. I'll leave them there with a strikeout, instead.

With a week to go, I'm also working on my next list. I'm nowhere near 101 things, but I can always add on as I go.

Anyone else interested? Encouragement is always welcome.

  1. I love crossing things off of lists. That's why my lists include easy to accomplish no brainers like - take shower, get dressed, tie shoes, and work their way up to the real chores like laundry. I usually feel so accomplished after crossing off all the easy stuff that I reward myself by taking a break and never completing the real things ;0)

Congrats on your accomplishments - all of which I'm sure are more impressive than tying your shoes!
