Apple has pulled a controversial iPhone application that allows users to shake their phones violently to make a picture of an infant stop crying. The 99-cent download, called Baby Shaker, drew harsh criticism across the Internet after its release on Monday by software developer Sikalosoft.

UPDATE: Apple has apologized for the application.

  2. What were they thinking? Morons aplenty even at Apple. Shame on them. Someone should shake a finger at them.
