A vanishing breed

A side view of the Sealyham Terrier at the Morris & Essex Dog Show, in 1941

Time reports on the dwindling Sealyham Terrier breed. In the 50's, the dog was popular among celebs. When I was a youngster, my grandparents had a Sealyham and a Scottie. Seeing these photos brings back memories of the house in Massachusetts, and Misty and Tucky. I had forgotten all about them until this article, and now that I think of it, I can't remember seeing any Sealyhams in years.

  1. You still see them at the big dogshows. Just saw one on TV this past week. Westminster Dogshow I think it was.
