Movie review: The Sixth Sense

M. Night Shyalaman's first big success (that I heard about, anyway). Haley Joel Osment, probably one of the great child actors, is Cole Sear, a young boy with a problem.

Bruce Willis is Dr. Malcolm Crowe, a child psychologist still reeling from a violent encounter with a former patient months before.

Helping Cole might be what it takes to get Dr. Crowe back in the swing. But what appears to be psychological distress over his parents' divorce takes a turn for the supernatural.

The suspense and surprises come when you least expect them, and the surprise ending is one of the great endings in film.

Very enjoyable, and re-watchable. Once you know the ending, you can view it with a whole new perspective. This is probably in my top 200 films.
