inside the mind

An interesting documentary, along the lines of the better-known Farenheit 9/11. Director/Writer/Narrator Christine Rose investigates the loss of civil liberties with authors, citizens, political activists and statistics.

Much of what she has to say is thought-provoking. Others are as one-sided as Rose accuses the administration of being. Sensational pictures and stories are as propagandistic as the ones published by the pro-Bush media.

To say her view is slanted doesn't take away from the possibility of her central concepts. Whatever one's personal views on the GWB administration, it remains important to listen to divergent viewpoints.

From a documentary standpoint, it's fairly well-done. There seems to be a lot of filler material and serious dragging in sections.
