There's a lot going on in this very busy movie. Sometimes it's hard to keep track of who belongs to whom, and how they interrelate. To give away anything would be saying too much.
There's a lot of familiar faces, including Thandie Newton, Matt Damon, Sandra Bullock, Ludacris, Daniel Dae Kim, Marina Sirtis, Don Cheadle, Brendan Fraser, Tony Danza. It's a great "hey, isn't that?" movie.
The way these and other lives intersect, connect, collide with each other on the most mundane and profound levels, and how preconceptions, prejudices and first impressions impact the way we relate to each other, are the point behind the interwoven storylines.
Some of it was uplifting. Other parts were disheartening and even disgusting. A lot of it was memorable.
