Sunday Scribblings: Decision

blog it

Update: Decision: Providence

Yes, she's talking about *that* again. I have to keep these things fresh or I lose enthusiasm. Especially when the payout is nearly a year away.

I've targeted June 2008. In that time I have to:
  1. Pay off some bills
  2. Sell the house
  3. Find a job
  4. Decide what absolutely must come with us
  5. Start packing
  6. Purge everything we won't need or will be cheaper to replace than to ship
  7. Change my last name
  8. Transfer the Bear's school records
  9. Find new doctors and dentists
  10. Find the eyeglass place where we have our prescriptions
  11. Transfer both our medical records
And a hundred other things I'm not thinking of just now.

The decision was easy once I decided to stop thinking about what I have to do before I can start thinking about moving, and started thinking about what I have to do to move.

Made the decision to read more? It's all here.

  1. Sounds like you have a lot on your plate! We share a few to do's on our respective lists. Nos. 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6 in particular. If we decide to move back to Seattle, I'll add number 3 to mine as well, though that will be the least of my worries.

There are few things more emotionally and physically draining as buying or selling a house, and all the leg work taht entails.

    Good luck with your decisions!
