Sunday Scribblings: If I Could Stop Time

What would I do if I could stop time? I'm going to try not to overanalyze this question...

I'd probably waste it. I'd lie around watching movies and writing reviews, feeling like I'd accomplished something when the day is over.

Maybe I'd pick a day when the weather was good and go for a long walk somewhere and take pictures.

Maybe I'd quit smoking or lose weight. Imagine my friends' surprise.

Maybe I'd do something silly, like peek in the neighbors' windows...

I think that's what I'd do. I'd travel the world, and see what people are doing as they're frozen in time. How many are hunched over a desk, or rocking a cradle, or are caught mid-kiss. They'd be being born, dying, laughing, crying... sitting around bored.

And when the moment frozen in time is over, maybe I'd be a little wiser than when it had started. Maybe.

  3. I like the idea of going around the world and "syping" on people as they're frozen in time. What an interesting tableau that would be!

  6. Interesting - I hadn't thought of how people would all be frozen in whatever they were doing at the time - that could be embarrassing!
